Parks leads New Trier past Evanston

The New Trier boys lacrosse team beat host Evanston 10-2 Thursday in a Central Suburban League game.

The Trevians (4-2, 2-0 in CSL) led 1-0 after the first quarter and 4-0 at halftime before pulling away from the Wildkits (0-2, 0-1). New Trier was led by senior Mick Parks’ five goals and two assists, along with senior attacker Chad Sawyer (2 goals, 2 assists) and Rory McGinnis and Ben Miller, who each added a goal. 

Evanston’s Charlie Mayne and Kevin Jamieson each scored, while goalie Nick Reinburg came up with 17 saves.
